City Walk

City Walk is a mixed-use district developed by Meraas in the Al Wasl community, at the junction of Al Wasl Road and Al Safa Street. It opened to the public in 2016 and was built in phases covering shops, restaurants, entertainment and apartments. Central Park at City Walk, also by Meraas, is the residential cluster set around the area's landscaped park. Al Satwa, Al Safa and Jumeirah surround it, with Downtown Dubai and Business Bay about ten minutes away.

What makes City Walk stand out?

Property Finder counts more than a dozen KHDA-rated schools within 5 km, including Jumeira Baccalaureate School and the Japanese School, with GEMS Wellington Primary and Horizon English School a few minutes away. Canadian University Dubai is next door. Check ratings and fees on the KHDA website.

Healthcare
Valiant Clinic is within a few minutes, along with several private clinics, and Emirates Hospital is about 12 minutes by car.

Transport & connectivity
Sheikh Zayed Road is roughly five minutes away. Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall metro station is a 5–8 minute drive, and RTA buses stop at City Walk 1 and City Walk 2. Al Wasl Road and Al Safa Street give quick access to Jumeirah and the beach side of the city.

Lifestyle & shopping
Restaurants and cafés line the streets, with Roxy Cinemas, Hub Zero and Mattel Play! Town for families, and concerts and events at Coca-Cola Arena. The Dubai Mall is about six minutes away for bigger shopping. A smart police station has operated in City Walk since 2017.

City Walk is listed as a freehold community, but confirm the title of the specific building with the Dubai Land Department before you sign. For off-plan launches, check RERA registration and that payments go into the escrow account. Arena events bring traffic and noise, so visit the exact building and unit on an event night if that matters to you.
