Expo Living: Terra Woods, Terra Gardens and Terra Heights

Expo Living is a joint venture between Emaar and Dubai World Trade Centre: a 451,295 square metre community beside Expo City Dubai that also includes Dubai Expo Mall. It is planned as 5 residential communities with about 3,555 homes, and it is one of the few Emaar communities where the land partner is Dubai World Trade Centre rather than Emaar alone. Terra Heights at Expo Living came first and set the template of mid-rise blocks around gardens, and Terra Gardens at Expo Living followed with 560 homes. Terra Woods is the largest of the three at 824 homes, and the one that pairs townhouses with apartments, which is why family buyers often choose it over the earlier phases. Its handover comes after its siblings, so if you need keys sooner, the earlier phases are worth a look as well.

Location: next to Expo City Dubai, Al Maktoum airport and the metro

Terra Woods is a short stroll from Expo City. Times from the community: Expo City Dubai about 5 minutes on foot, Al Maktoum International Airport about 10 minutes by car, Dubai Marina about 15 minutes and Downtown Dubai about 35 minutes. Metro access is through the Expo station, the end of the Red Line's Route 2020 branch, so this is one of the few off-plan communities in the south of the city with a metro station already running.
